Spanning the side of Balmoral’s General Store, jump out and snap some photos with the spirited birds and bright flowers or simply enjoy the view from the comfort and warmth of your car. Either way, it’s a winning Winter activity.

Stylish and cosy, the Penny Wine Bar in Penshurst comes complete with an open fireplace and extensive wine list. Sip and savour your way through some of the region’s finest, along with wines from further afield. - An ancient lava flow will warm you up!
Jump in the car and head to Byaduk and discover an ancient lava flow. At the Harman’s Velley Lookout, you can view one of the best examples of a lava flow constricted by a valley in the world, resulting in a striking group of features unique to Australia! And while in area, keep those legs moving and that body warm with a visit to the Byaduk Caves and Mt Napier.
