Pierrepoint Wines
Pierrepoint Wines is a five-hectare vineyard established in 1998 growing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris grapes. The property boasts magnificent views across a charming valley, an established sugar gum plantation and a picturesque lake. To the south enjoy wonderful views of Mount Napier, often across golden fields of canola or mustard.
Border Collie, Bear, takes it upon himself to welcome visitors onto the property, so say hello to him and the owners Andrew and Jennifer as you enjoy cellar door tastings, giant games on the lawn, or catch the live music that occasionally pops up throughout the year.
Soak up the panoramic views of the vineyard by taking a walk amongst the vines, venture down to the jetty on the lake where nesting swans, eels, red fin and mountain ducks make their home.
Located in Tarrington, a short 10-minute drive from Hamilton in the heart of the Henty Wine Region you will find Pierrepoint Wines, a small family vineyard and winery with accommodation south west of Tarrington at the foothills of Mount Pierrepoint.
