The Shire of Southern Grampians supports a population of 17,000, with 10,450 being in the city of Hamilton.

TIME ZONE

Southern Grampians maintains the same time as Melbourne, Eastern Standard Time.
(South Australia is 1/2 hour behind Victoria, Central Standard Time).

Daylight Savings in Victoria begins the first Sunday in October and finishes on the first Sunday in April. At the start of Daylight savings clocks need to be put forward 1 hour and at the end need to be put back 1 hour.
